Both short and long-term students are accepted year-round. Our working student program is run with an emphasis on the importance of thoroughly and correctly learning the basics of dressage and horse care.
We offer our working students the opportunity to ride and learn with regular lessons and lunge lessons, on our FEI schoolmaster and/or their own horse. Students get riding time, quality instruction and experience working in a busy but friendly professional barn. The job includes all usual barn duties, i.e. cleaning stalls, turning horses in and out, preparing horses for riding, cleaning tack, grooming etc.
Accommodation and stipend of $100 per wk (to start) is included. Applicants must have some barn work and riding experience and be tidy and clean.
